Anklebiter

This is my nephew, Jacob. I took this photo a few months ago, and it's probably my favourite of him. He is a cheeky fellow, though pretty silent still, the son of my brother and his wife. Coming on 2-years-old this year. I used to be a bit opposed to babies when I was younger (perhaps a form of jealousy), slowly and secretly starting to like them a little more as I got older - and then Jacob came along and I fell in love with him. Since then, I have two other nephews, Jacob's brother, Fletcher, and my other brother's son, Hendrix. I have no opposition to babies, now. I get to be blessed with babysitting my oldest nephew every now and then (sometimes his brother too, or his cousin), which is a lot of fun, and I miss him when he's gone. All this reminds me of what a friend said once - how it's such a privilege that God gives us His children to look after on this earth, and rear them until they come to know Him by themselves. Awesome.
